1. Choosing a voice

Just phone or email us, describing the kind of voice you're thinking of, and we'll send you an email with our suggestions for suitable voices.

Otherwise, you can use our "audition" option with over 200 voice samples.

After clicking "audition", select "male" or "female", then the language you need and the style in which your script should be spoken - i.e. "respectable", "posh", "bright" or "commercial". Our on-line voice library will come up with a number of demos matching your search criteria. Every voice actor has his or her own profile. By pressing a/the small ID button you can browse the voice actor's references.

You can listen to any voice sample immediately by clicking on it with the right-hand mouse key and downloading it as an .mp3 file.

If you are interested in a particular voice actor you only need to click enquiry to ask about his or her current availability.

2. Your script/ syncing soundtrack to image

Simply email us your script as a Word document. Ideally, it should also include time codes telling the voice actor when to start and how fast he or she should read the text. As a general standard our rates are based on an average of 700 characters (without spaces) spoken in 1 minute.

If you supply us with a movie file in Quicktime (i.e. as a .mov file) we can sync it for you with single-frame precision.

It is important for us that we get the file one hour before production starts and that a time code is included in the script for the voice actor indicating where each paragraph is meant to start and finish. You receive the finished work as an audio file which is perfectly synchronized to your movie.

3. Your voice-over preferences

It doesn't matter how many or what kinds of voices you are looking for, if you tell us what you have in mind, we'll find it.

4. Technical considerations

Please inform us of your technical requirements:
- from resolution to sampler rate, and, if relevant, a codec
- your audio and file formats
- with or without compression.

We fulfil. Your needs.

Besides this, you can choose whether you'd prefer to download the recording directly from our server or have it delivered as a CD.

5. Usage/Application

If your recording is intended for a standard advertising format you can choose exactly where it should be implemented, from TV spots to phone promotion.

Furthermore, you can select individual production phases, off-line sign-off, layout or final mastering.

If your recording is not intended for classical advertising or other commercial purposes we charge a fee based on the number of characters (without spaces) at 700 characters per minute.

Further factors affecting our fee are the size of the edition, range of distribution and duration of the licence.

6. Our estimate

You will receive our estimate via email as a PDF document, on the basis of our phone conversation or email exchange.

7. Conditions of payment

When production is completed you will receive our invoice as a PDF document via email, but also by post if you prefer.

8. Directing a production

Before recording begins we will provide you with a freephone number. When you dial up you are linked up cost-free to our mixing desk allowing you to communicate directly with the voice actors and the sound technicians. There is no need for you to leave your office to supervise a production - you can direct the recording at ease from your own desk.

If you prefer, we can direct the production for you. Our sound production is grounded in years of experience as a practicing musician and stage director at various theatres throughout Germany (e.g. Hamburger Kammerspiele, Münchner Kammerspiele, Residenztheater München). For directing a recording we charge 65 Euro per hour, and for each incremental hour.

If you wish to be involved with the production jointly with one or a number of partners (agency and client), we can provide each party with a freephone number to take part in a conference call.

9. In-time production

If your script is no longer than 3 minutes (2100 characters) - and the studio's work schedule permitting - within just 90 minutes of the completed production you will receive an email with the link for downloading your finished recording as a digital audio file.
